Chole ( garbanzo beans curry)

Ingredients

1 can garbanzo beans
3 tbs oil
1 cardamom pod
1 onion chopped
1 cup chopped canned tomato
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmuric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp kasoori methi
2 springs of cilantro for garnish
salt

Method

Heat oil in a pan add cardamom pod ,chopped onions ans sprinkle with salt sautee on medium flame until light
brown

Now add ginger garlic paste and turmuric powder fry for a min then add chopped tomatoes mix everything and cover and cook on a low flame for 5 min until tomatoes are soft

Now add chilli powder ,garam masala powder ,kasuri methi and drained garbanzo beans mix everything and add 1 -1/2 cup water ,adjust salt and simmer for 10 to 15 min

DONE garnish with cilantro

Serve hot with rice or tortilla
